Ventura Harbor Village welcomes locals and visitors alike to partake in an array of events and activities set against the picturesque backdrop of the California coast. Along with a variety of dining options and great spring finds at coastal shops, Ventura Harbor Village has recreational water rentals, wine tasting, pampering services, and more to explore on the waterfront.  The seaside destination is thrilled to usher in a spring roster of enticing new activities and live entertainment this April and May and offer complimentary parking and entry to live music and events on the seashore.

Road to Stagecoach with 100.7 KHAY

Get ready to kick off your boots and dance to the rhythm of country music and join the 100.7 KHAY Street Team for “The Road to Stagecoach” promotion. Country music enthusiasts won’t want to miss this exciting event, filled with music, fun, and fantastic prizes with a chance to win tickets to the sold out Stagecoach Festival in Indo in April, 2024, courtesy of KHAY. Plein Air Paint Out and Reception at Ventura Harbor

Saturday, April 20, 2024  – Noon – 4 PM

Delve into vibrant art and culture, and discover a passion for art at the Plein Air Paint Out.  As part of this event,The Buenaventura Art Association at Harbor Village Gallery and Gifts is hosting over 10 artists to create paintings of beautiful Ventura Harbor.  Come by and witness one-of-kind art being made in real time that captures the beauty of harborscapes, boats, plants, and animals that all call Ventura Harbor home along the Promenade.  Featured artists include Bebe Betker, Jim Darin, Erin Dertner, Lois Freeman-Fox, Michelle Nosco, Vickie Pellouchoud, Linda Rinaldi, Ed Terpening, Helle Urban, and Mary Zangerle. The En Plein Air exhibit will be on display in the Harbor Village Gallery & Gift’s courtyard, where the artists will share their paintings. Beach Cleanup with Channel Islands National Park 

April 21, 2024 – 9 AM – Noon

Engage in love for the local coastline by joining in a beach cleanup. Walk-ins are welcome, and pre-registration is not required. All volunteers are asked to please wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection. Each is encouraged to bring a reusable bucket, gloves, and water bottle. All participants will be provided with Instructions, volunteer waivers, data cards, trash and recycling bags, gloves, and water. Parking is available near Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center, 1901 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura. Individuals and families can meet a ranger in front of the visitor center. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.For more information,

Love national parks?  There’s a holiday for this! National Park Week.  What’s more is that Ventura Harbor is the launching point to the beautiful Channel Islands National Park and also the home of the Channel Islands National Park (CINP) Visitor Center! Besides the Beach Cleanup With The Channels Islands National Park, Here are several other ways to celebrate National Park Week seaside:

— Stop by the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center for Junior Ranger Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1-4 PM! Festivities are FREE for children and families. — Enjoy the gallery exhibit of Tim Hauf’s photographs that be on display in the theater on Sunday,  April 28, 2024. As April is National Poetry Month, the Visitor Center will also have a unique “Poetry in the Garden” walk from 10 – 10:45 AM in the native plant garden.

Celebrate Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day with us! Do your part to keep the oceans clean every day.  Visit the Village Visitor Booth for an opportunity to participate in keeping the harbor clean by helping to collect a small bucket of trash in planters or along the promenade.  Then, enter to win fun prizes, and receive a free Harbor Village sticker to adorn a reusable water bottle. As part of the festivities, do not miss a visit to the SEEAG‘s booth, where they will be selling seedlings and promoting awareness surrounding sustainable agriculture.  Garden and nature lovers can pre-order their plants and pick these up from 10 AM – 2 PM at the Booth on the Promenade.
