All licensed contractors are invited to submit the Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application for inclusion on the Ventura Port District’s list of qualified bidders and to receive email notifications on all Notice Inviting Bids. Visit https://www.cslb.ca.gov/ to check your status.
In order to work on projects in Ventura Harbor Village or other Port District properties, all contractors must be registered with the CA Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). To find out more about the DIR or register, visit https://www.dir.ca.gov.

CA UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT
VENTURA PORT DISTRICT PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING POLICY UPDATE DECEMBER 18, 2024
In 2013, the Ventura Port District elected to become subject to the CA Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act as set forth in Public Contract Code Section 22000 et seq., by Resolution No. 3213.
Ordinance No. 48 was adopted by the Board of Port Commissioners to provide informational bidding procedures under the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act.
Resolution No. 3219, amends Resolution No. 3213 to authorize use of Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act Procedures for Maintenance Work.
Ordinance No. 52 amends Ordinance No. 48, increasing the bid limit threshold prescribed in Public Contract Code (PCC) 22032.
