The 14th Annual Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival returns to picturesque Ventura Harbor Village on September 10 and 11, 2022 from 10am to 5pm with loads of art vendors and street painters. What’s more, the seaside enclave, invites visitors to experience a stunning backdrop of majestic yachts, stunning sunsets, blissful weather with gentle ocean breezes paired to casual open-air and sit down dining and unique one-of-a kind boutiques, galleries, and specialty stores.  The Ventura Harbor destination is the picture-perfect staycation/midweek/weekend getaway for couples, friends, and families.

The Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival at Ventura Harbor Village gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy art, street painting, and the beauty of the Ventura County coast and benefits Food Share of Ventura County and Boy & Girls Club of Greater Ventura. To date the organization has donated over $60,000 to Food Share of Ventura County.

“Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival provides festival-goers with a rare chance to see the artists working outside of their studio,” said Barbara Hinton, Executive Director of the Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival. “The street painters are working in real time right before your very eyes,” she added.

Artists will be showcasing their work in the artist’s vendor area near the Fisherman’s Memorial between popular waterfront restaurants Andria’s Seafood Restaurant & Market and Brophy Bros Clam Bar & Restaurant. The vendor art booths include original paintings, pottery, photography, jewelry, and more — all available for purchase.  Additionally, the sidewalks along the art festival and the Village Promenade will be the canvas for colorful street painters, who will be creating chalk pastel murals ranging from approximately 10×5 ft. to 10×10 ft. in size.  The chalk paintings are a highlight of the festival and will remain up for visitors to view for weeks.  (weather pending). Admission & parking are free.

Children can join in and create their own art as well in the Children’s Chalk Area, operated by The Boys and Girls Club of Ventura County.  For $10 kids get a small box of chalk and a sidewalk square where they can create their own colorful work of art.

The Ventura Art & Street Painting festival weekend at Ventura Harbor Village will headline local female artists Karen Eden on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from Noon – 3 PM, and Lynnzee Fraye, on Sunday,

September 11, 2022 from Noon – 3 PM, who will both perform live on the Village Promenade stage. Plus catch additional entertainment each evening at Ventura Harbor Village restaurants.  Stroll through the Village galleries and boutiques shops and enjoy casual, seaside eats.
