Plein Air Paint Out and Reception at Ventura Harbor

As part of this event,The Buenaventura Art Association at Harbor Village Gallery and Gifts is hosting over 10 artists to create paintings of beautiful Ventura Harbor. Beach Cleanup with Channel Islands National Park
April 21, 2024 – 9 AM – Noon
Engage in love for the local coastline by joining in a beach cleanup. Walk-ins are welcome, and pre-registration is not required. All volunteers are asked to please wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection. Each is encouraged to bring a reusable bucket, gloves, and water bottle. All participants will be provided with Instructions, volunteer waivers, data cards, trash and recycling bags, gloves, and water. Parking is available near Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center, 1901 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura. Individuals and families can meet a ranger in front of the visitor center. Celebrate Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day with us! Do your part to keep the oceans clean every day. Visit the Village Visitor Booth for an opportunity to participate in keeping the harbor clean by helping to collect a small bucket of trash in planters or along the promenade. Then, enter to win fun prizes, and receive a free Harbor Village sticker to adorn a reusable water bottle. As part of the festivities, do not miss a visit to the SEEAG‘s booth, where they will be selling seedlings and promoting awareness surrounding sustainable agriculture. Garden and nature lovers can pre-order their plants and pick these up from 10 AM – 2 PM at the Booth on the Promenade. Don’t forget to get involved in Junior Ranger Day!
