Don’t be left out, there are only 250 bowls. The handmade ceramic bowls are being donated by the Ventura County Potters’ Guild members, Ojai Valley School, CSUCI, Firestick Pottery, The Ojai Pottery and Clay School, and Nordhoff High School.
A special treat this year will be the opportunity to see Ellen Wohlstadter demonstrate her unique hand built ceramic bowl creations throughout the day. Her slab technique utilizes molds, textures and wooden rollers. By layering multiple glaze combinations, her bowls reflect colors of the earth, sea and sky.
This year’s BOWL OF THANKS sponsors include: The Ventura County Potters’ Guild, Ventura Breeze, Mechanics Bank, Montecito Bank, and the Ventura Port District. All monies raised will go directly to these charities who work year round to make life better for families in need and animals.
